Welcome!

Here's a little biography to get things started.  I have lived in South Florida for a long time, but I grew up in New York and still have a soft spot in my heart for the Big Apple.  If you are like me and tired of the day-to-day stresses of the fluorescent tube lifestyle, then you probably understand why I reside here.  Cruising is a passion of mine that allows me to escape my worries and troubles, leaving them behind for others to handle while I’m away, or worse, to have them waiting for me when I return.  You will notice in my first book, however, that sometimes trouble just can’t be left behind ;).  When I pack up the luggage and try to sneak my little toy poodle on to the cruise (just kidding), it is officially my time in the sunshine!  Whether we are cruising out of Port Everglades or Port of Miami, it is always a family vacation to remember.  So it’s only fitting to live in an area where I can enjoy what I love to do, be treated like royalty for a week aboard a cruise ship, then return to the typical hustle and bustle of everyday life.  I would live in Florida anyway, but it’s really nice being so close to the ports.  I’ve been cruising since 1979 and have only become more enamored with cruising over the years.

I believe eBooks and eReaders (all types) are the way of the future, and I’m ready to embark on this journey.  I have created rough drafts of novels I wished to share, but never found the right moment to try and share my stories.  eReaders have truly opened doors and paved the way for new novelists everywhere, and I finally feel like I have that opportunity and blessing. 

So what hectic lifestyle do I lead that makes me want to escape my reality?  I am a court reporter.  As much as I would love downtime after a hard day’s work, my career spills over into my personal time, requiring me to transcribe my notes and produce verbatim transcripts for the attorneys.  Since apparently that isn’t enough stress to manage each day, I have a wonderful son that keeps me on the edge of my seat with his studies in medical school.  Luckily I have an amazing husband who keeps me grounded through the highs and lows of life. 

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you for visiting my website and expressing interest in my stories.  It has always been my dream and goal to produce my own novels and share them with other avid readers like myself.  Reading is the perfect escape from reality, and I am ecstatic to be undertaking this venture of writing and publishing my novels.
